Casglu

A monthly workshop programme for dance and movement artists working across dance, choreography and movement direction.

Casglu is a monthly workshop programme for dance and movement artists working across dance, choreography, movement direction and physical practice to come together, explore their craft, learn new skills and build community. These workshops are led by a diverse cohort of guest artists, offering insight into their individual practice. These sessions are a space to fuel your own artistry and nurture your practice alongside like-minded artists.

Casglu Bursary

As part of our September 2026 – March 2027 programme of sessions we are opening 4 bursary places for dancers. This bursary pays for their time to attend 3 of our Casglu sessions, but further attendance at the wider programme is encouraged where possible. Successful recipients will also be expected to work with the Stiwdio Clwyd team to conduct a full evaluation of their involvement in the programme.

Bursary fee available – £550
Please be aware this fee has been calculated to cover the artist’s time to attend 3 sessions (roughly 3 hours each), evaluation time and any additional costs associated with attending. Stiwdio Clwyd recognises that some artists face extra costs (access, childcare, etc…) that they may accrue in order to attend and will work with bursary artists to ensure costs are manageable.

Casglu sessions will remain open for unsuccessful applicants or applicants who choose not to apply to attend unpaid.
