Casglu with Angharad Jones-Young

Fri 29 May @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Casglu is a monthly space for professional dancers and movement practitioners to come together, explore their craft and learn from established industry leaders.

The first half of the workshop will include a warm up and strength and conditioning work before moving into travelling sequences and phrases. The movement style will be a mix of floorwork, standing material which focuses on turns, twists and spirals, as well as some elements of Afro-fusion. The second half of the session will be focused on partner-work – this will be a mixture of set tasks and also duet improvisations. The session is suitable for anyone who likes to move and groove, and is up for trying something fun and new.
