Join award-winning playwright Emily White, in collaboration with Stiwdio Clwyd, Sherman Theatre, Chippy Lane Productions and Women’s Prize for Playwriting, as she takes you through a series of exercises, prompts and provocations to help you to create distinctive characters who will bring your play to life.
Emily’s play Atlantis won the George Devine Award and was recently produced to critical acclaim at Theatr Clwyd and Chichester Festival Theatre. Emily’s play, The Children of Glyndŵr, was shortlisted for the 2025 Women’s Prize for Playwriting and she participated in the inaugural Future Light programme to support her development.
Following the workshop, there will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Prize ahead of submissions opening in November!
